But that's true of any Lego(R) CAD Package with effort!
I think they might also have wanted to protect their investment in Creator,
It is clear(in thier eyes?) that Block CAD,L-Draw etc do not come close to
Creator in reasonable terms. The target market is different.
IANAL But I think one of the other issues that might be a problem is if the
part designs in a CAD system were used by a competitor.(Industrial,product
designs can, and should be protected. I have no argument with this.) However I
don't think LDUnits (which I was going) to use are precise enough to get
tolerancing infomation which is what a competitor would need!
