L3P will correctly render any DAT file. But it will not substitute any
Hi-Res primitives until I release the next version.
I did program Hi-Res support in June 1999, so I guess it's about time
for a new release now that we start using these new primitives ;-)
L3P simply skips any numeric folder name before looking for substitutes.
4-4cyli.dat, 48\4-4cyli.dat, 120\4-4cyli.dat etc. are considered the same
and will all be substituted by a perfectly round POV cylinder.
However, new primitives like e.g. 1-48cyli.dat (not proposed yet) will
still have to await being modelled in L3P for later release.

| Ok, Can some one tell me where we are heading with these Hi-Res primitives. Today I created the Hi-Res versions of several of the "normal" primitives. Then I edited the main "normal" ones to use the Hi-Res instead. WOW! There was about a 10-20% (...) (25 years ago, 25-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
