I would have _loved_ something like this when I was ldrawing my X-Wing
alternate models. Oh the time wasted looking for parts. . .
Another resourse for this would be .dat files of ldrawn TLG models. The .dat
file could easily be mined for the inventory. (Except, of course, extra
pieces wouldn't be represented.

I would check out that the people over in lugnet.db.inv, where they already are busy making inventories of sets. I expect they have decided a file format (...) (25 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
