Gary Williams:

For the Lego CAD program I'm developing, I got the idea for allowing users
to load a set inventory file.

Why? To build a model only with parts from a specific set?
Well, why not?

I would have _loved_ something like this when I was ldrawing my X-Wing
alternate models.  Oh the time wasted looking for parts. . .

Another resourse for this would be .dat files of ldrawn TLG models.  The .dat
file could easily be mined for the inventory.  (Except, of course, extra
pieces wouldn't be represented.
