Terry is no slack. You know from experience that getting parts right is very important to Terry and to almost everyone else here. You would seriously ask Terry to consider a part that has been demonstrated to be incorrect in a very obvious way? Even when many of your parts were rejected in the last round of voting? What do you think this says to others about your attitude and level of respect? Though the LDraw parts effort is entirely volunteer-based, and in many cases something is better than nothing, there are sometimes cases when nothing is better than something. (...) I have to agree with Todd here. Jonathan, if the part you intend to submit for voting is the same part as posted to lugnet.cad.dat, don't bother. i know that the torus generator generated part looks kind of shit but i know nothing about circular maths (trig?). steve tells me that the helipad and road curve 7 studs have both been made with the generator... have you seen those yet tery? do they (...) (26 years ago, 6-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
