  Re: Site change suggestion

(...) Well, I still use LEdit as my primary editing tools, and switch between LDLite and L3Lab and L3P for rendering. I'm sure I'm not alone, either. (...) Urk. I'd recommend keeping the site LDraw-centric, but increasing the exposure of MLCad in (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

(...) How will that affect anyone else who maintains pages on www.ldraw.org? Steve (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Request for Part Name Suggestions

Marc Klein has made *many* wonderful contributions for the 2000-02 parts update. Among other files, there are several "throwbot pieces". I'm having a hard time coming up with decent part-names that a) Don't use either "throwbot" or "slizer" b) (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Site change suggestion

(...) Good thoughts. (...) I am behind you here. The thought has crossed my mind a little to change the site's focus to more of MLCad, but I haven't had the time to impliment it. After Kidvention, I plan on inserting the site entirely into (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: Site change suggestion

(...) Probably :) I use LEdit because it's faster than MLCAD, renders smoother (ie, no redraws every time you move a piece), has tons of shortcut keys, and doesn't pop up any dialog boxes for any reason. When someone creates a higher resolution (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Site change suggestion

Despite the fact that ldraw.org is a site about ldraw, the fact is that any new user trying to build models would almost certainly be better off running MLCad than LEdit. It's user-friendly, and Michael keeps adding more cool new features. It's my (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  LDraw at the Kidvention Update

Hey everybody... Here's an update on the status for LDraw at the Kidvention so far: I sent off the artwork for the banner to the company (FastSigns) today, and they will get back to me soon on approval. Thanks to everyone who donated to make this (...)   Part-Submission Requests/Guidelines/Tips

While processing files, in preparation for the 2000-02 update cycle, I've been running into a few things that have bogged down the process. In an effort to increase the speed of these things, I wanted to post a few pointers for parts- authors. BTW, (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
