Re: problem with the fire logo pieces...

(...) Who me? Whatever was I thinking? I wasn't thinking -- I was being rude. (Sorry) --Todd (25 years ago, 2-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: problem with the fire logo pieces...

(...) My mistake then. Of course, it was logical to infer from the wording in your post that you had created them. Sorry for the misunderstanding and the jab anyway. --Todd p.s. Thanks BTW for using > characters to quote relevant content! :) (25 years ago, 2-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Tim Courtney <tim@zacktron.com> wrote in message news:4.2.0.58.199908...omm.com... (...) Actually, they do have set numbers. Go to the Pause DB and search for "Idea Book" to see for yourself.   Re: problem with the fire logo pieces...

(...) Geez, misalignment above is NOTHING like misalignment below. (just like wandering over the centerline is nothing like wandering into the shoulder, right?) Whatever were you thinking? (25 years ago, 2-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: What to do with a partially finished part? (2994.DAT)

(...) Certainly! I would be happy if you could. It's a bit difficult for me to describe, since I don't know English that well, but let's try: I've modeled the centre of the wheel 2994 basically as a disc with an axle hole in the centre and six 8 LDU (...)   Re: Voting page for 9906

(...) Okay, I looked at the pieces, and here are my thoughts on the ones I had problems with: Can the insertion points for the castle doors be moved closer to the hinged part?   Re: problem with the fire logo pieces...

There should only be two of the three pieces that have the floating logos. Those were the first pieces I'd ever done(ever will do probably), I told Terry and asked him if he could get someone to fix that for me, but he just had them left as is. (...) (25 years ago, 2-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: problem with the fire logo pieces...

(...) Yes, this was known at the time. If we never get another pattern "floating above the part", it will be too soon. Steve (25 years ago, 2-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: are idea book models going to be accepted into the omr?

(...) No. They do not have set numbers and were not released into the market individually packaged with their own pieces. -Tim <>< (URL) timcourtne ICQ: 23951114 Get paid to surf the web! Visit: (URL) (25 years ago, 2-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: why is no-one saying anything about my parts?

(...) I thought you already learned this lesson when you majorly botched up that 32x32 curved road baseplate plate in April. Oh wait, that was a different lesson. The pattern was floating below the part in that case. --Todd (25 years ago, 2-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
