My proposal for the standard orientation of all new elements being added to the parts catalog. LEdit/LDraw have a "standard" or "default" view that looks upon models/elements from the upper front left. The LEdit/LDraw axes are as follows in the (...) (26 years ago, 24-Feb-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) Just view them in LDraw (Over left front) at 50% and you should see (they do render OK in LDLite). Basically what has been done in the past is to redefine the entire part, missing out (fromn the colour 16 definitions) the area of surface which (...) (26 years ago, 23-Feb-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

I have some comments on the new parts: Airport Runway baseplates (606p33, 608p33) and Crosswalk Baseplate (425p01) These appear to have been authored by concurrently defining the white (...) A note on the 9V Mini-motor: There is a box3#8.dat primitive which Ldlite is currently unable to draw. This primitive forms the wire notch on the top of the motor, but since the voting page is done with Ldlite, a hole exixts. Terry, maybe you could (...) (26 years ago, 23-Feb-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Here's just a couple of suggestions for the James Jessiman Memorial site, to raise some awareness: 1. Put it on the LEGO webring. 2. Be sure it is indexed on www.adequate.com's lego search engine. Basically, be sure it is promoted (in a positive (...) (26 years ago, 23-Feb-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
