Re: LDraw.org's November 2008 Part of the Month Winner

(...) Thanks, Joshua! I just hope to have more competition, from as many contestants as possible ;o) Philo (16 years ago, 9-Dec-08, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, FTX)

Re: LDraw.org's November 2008 Part of the Month Winner

(...) Um, yeah... OK. So why does this even COUNT any more? You should just assign it to Philo automatically from now on! :-) (this is more to say that Philo's efforts rock, than in any way to denigrate the contest) Philo, you and your efforts rock! (...)   Re: *** LDView Version 4.0 Beta 1 Released ***

(...) I second that. I've been using it for all my latest renders and it's eliminated almost all hand-editing of POVray files. Top stuff! Tim (16 years ago, 7-Dec-08, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

Re: LDraw.org's November 2008 Part of the Month Winner

(...) ... (...) This is a big update. I heartily recommend you give it a try, especially if you are working with LPub or using a Mac (or both). Travis has made some great additions to the program. Jim (16 years ago, 2-Dec-08, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

Re: 2008/2009 LDraw.org Standards Committee (LSC) - Call for Nominations

(...) Thanks for the nomination. Of course, I will continue to be involved as (one of) the LDraw Parts Library admin(s), but cannot take on LSC membership as well, and do not want to fill a spot at the expense of some new faces. Welcome to Jim and (...) (16 years ago, 19-Nov-08, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: 2008/2009 LDraw.org Standards Committee (LSC) - Call for Nominations

(...) Hi Willy, Thanks for nominating me. I do believe I have missed the response deadline; I think I should probably take that as a sign of inability to devote sufficient time to this responsibility right now. But I appreciate the honor.   Re: LDconfig.ldr - missing colors

(...) Possibly because I wasn't paying close attention to the edge values at that time. However, over the last two weeks, I have had a lot of time to look at edge values. I was surprised to see how much of a difference that they make. Please look (...) (16 years ago, 18-Nov-08, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: LDconfig.ldr - missing colors

(...) Why did you not use the values from LDConfig.ldr for the Edge Colors?? For example: LDConfig.ldr 0 !COLOUR Black CODE 0 VALUE #212121 EDGE 8 This references to Color number 8 and that is 0 !COLOUR Dark_Gray CODE 8 VALUE #635F52 EDGE 0 But you (...)
