(...) Hmmm, I guess that's slightly different from the GMA X3100, which seemed to work for me. If you get a chance, try and run it with -n4 on the command line. That should render everything in the back buffer like 99.99% of the opengl programs out (...) (17 years ago, 30-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) No, I use glfinish(). I've had all sorts of problems over the years with Apple because I often render in the front buffer to emulate the various ancient ldlite immediate rendering modes. Does it update ok when you spin the model with the (...) (17 years ago, 24-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) For what it's worth, Tiger will run on a 300 MHz G3. While it certainly wasn't fast, I don't recall ever encountering any software that simply said "I need a G4".
