  Re: LDraw part library structure

(...) Most likely true. Just trying to be cautious. (...) Good clarification. Thanks for pointing that out. (...) Only if they are as concise, well-ordered and logical as Todd's. Mine always seem to be a rambling monologue. :-/ (...) And those (...) (26 years ago, 15-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Non-TLG Parts

(...) Roy, Did you ever finish that part? I dropped by your web-page, once upon a time, and it seemed like the file was there for downloading. If it's complete, you should submit for the next parts update. Steve (26 years ago, 15-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: LDraw part library structure

(...) I'm getting a mental image here... I'm holding Terry by the shoulders, and Joshua's using the bat. Seriously, Terry worked very hard to make this arrangement/agreement come about. I'm looking forward to seeing the results in up-coming parts (...) (26 years ago, 15-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Is there a Part creating Tutorial?

(...) I am wondering if there might be cases where a worthwhile approach would be to start with a raster DAT (that's the bitmap after 2DAT'ing it), and replace some or most (but not all) with vector commands. I think this approach may work on things (...) (26 years ago, 15-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: lugnet.cad hierarhcy

(...) Yep, that's pretty much where I'm at. Especially since I use my newsreader for scanning the groups, and I hop over to the web interface specifically to look at the postings in lugnet.cad.dat. Other than mixing DAT's with discussion, I'm pretty (...) (26 years ago, 15-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Foundations (Was: [ldraw.org] Eve of Beginnings)

(...) Could you? That would help get a good idea of what people want. Include options: www.ldraw.org ldraw.org LDraw LDraw Organization The LDraw Project (and the other one that people liked...plus any you feel will be appropriate) Thanks!! Keep (...) (26 years ago, 15-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) I could very easily set up an informal poll for you, if you want something like that to help gather information on opinions. --Todd (26 years ago, 15-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: LDraw part library structure

(...) You're welcome, Terry. A labor of love, it was. <big snip> (...) Don't even worry about this, Terry. Either we're going to have a 5-digit code for the entire assembly that we can use, or we're going to know the 4-digit codes even if they're (...) (26 years ago, 15-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: [ldraw.org] L3P Question

(...) good (...) I thought of that too. I have a photograph of the brick and it got just enough detail to make out that there is texture there implying the word LEGO, but it is not clear enough to show it. It is probably better this way, just like (...) (26 years ago, 15-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
