(...) I looked into CSS today and think it would be very useful in keeping the pages clean and allowing a universal across-the-board look and feel. (...) Since we've mentioned other Macromedia products, I've used Fireworks for this. It has a cool preview feature that lets you tweak out an image, deciding on quality vs size and it even gives you an estimate of the download time at 28.8. (...) (26 years ago, 14-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) Which brings up another issue. Does anyone have one of those gif compressors that take several k out of each file so nicely and conveniently? If so, when the ldraw.org images are done, could you run them through it? Or is there a freeware one (...) (26 years ago, 13-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
