Does anyone have anything to say or add about the torus primitives? I have a
few parts in process that use parts of a torus that can be finished up once
we decide on a format and file name structure. Any comments are welcome.

Some of the parts can be viewed at my "in process" web page.

Two of them are the non-shooting cannon and the Pirate ship steering wheel.

I put the POV codes in since I wasn't sure how long it would be before they
would be adopted into the parts library.

Do you think that this can be easily implimented into L3P?  Lars?  I have
put a few small pictures on my Utilities pages with some notes about this
format.

The pictures can be directly accessed with these links;

One of the main drawbacks to the POV coding in a part is that it does not
inline, So anyone inlining a part with it should just remove any pov
references that were inlined. (I am not asking for this to be added to any
program since it would head us in a different direction with the developing
Lcad software)

I have a few files generated that are in use by some of my new parts.  I
have a list of suggested files to be generated. Most of them are fractions
such as 1/10(.1000), 1/9(.1111), 1/8(.1250), 1/7(.1429), 1/6(.1667),
1/5(.2000), 2/9(.2222), 1/4(.2500), 2/7(.2857), 3/10(.3000), 1/3(.3333),
3/8(.3750), 2/5(.4000), 3/7(.4286), 4/9(.4444), 1/2(.5000), plus a few others.
I'm not suggesting that we create these all at once, just a few of the main
ones that can be very common. Or I can create them upon request.

LMKWYT,

Paul
