(...) Please tell me what the benefit is of your even distribution of triangles over the currend distribution whith 9 quads and 4 triangles? To my opinion, this factor alone doesn't seem to result into any severe deformations in renderings with (...) (26 years ago, 22-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

(...) Following an initiative by Axel Poqué, I've resubmitted an improved version of the original 1-8sphe.dat primitive for the next update. This version still has 9 quads and 4 triangles, but coplanarity and meeting the surface of the sphere falls (...) (26 years ago, 22-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

I'm sorry for breaking my reply up intp little pieces, but for an unnown reason I'm not able to post any long message to Lugnet for the past 4 days. (...) Please make that 4 decimal places, for all the other curved primitives that the 1-8sphe.dat (...) (26 years ago, 22-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

(...) I think these should have 4 decimal places, as with the majority of the circular primitives. The reason for this is that there is often a need to use 3DPs in parts. Where these include circular primitives and scale them up by a factor of 10 (...) (26 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)
