(...) Well, as this piece is commonly used with the 2854, and that piece is already in the vote in its own position, I would place the 2853 in the default position easiest to use with the 2854. That would require a 180 degree flip of the 2853 and a (...) (26 years ago, 17-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) I originally thought that the 2853, the axle #2 with offset crank, should have the axle oriented in the X-direction, as do all axles in LDraw, and that the 2854 should have the axle hole oriented in the X-direction, as do almost all parts in (...) (26 years ago, 17-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
