Shutter, real ridges or simulated? —Larry Pieniazek
Are the ridges (louvers) on the (3856) shutter just lines rather than triangular ridges/grooves? When I render this part in POV it appears as a smooth surface rather than having any grooves. That of course looks funny up close. And of course, a (...) (24 years ago, 25-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) I just checked this part out on my PC and I'm afraid you're right. The grooves are only simulated with lines. Bummer! But not too difficult to fix, hee hee. Let me know if you're interested in a 3D grooved part, and I'll make one. On ONE (...) (24 years ago, 25-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) an inverted U than a rotated C. But I'm just judging by appearance. Note that the part itself does not use triangular shaped ridges.. I thought it did but on examination, see that it does not. That makes a certain sense as it preserves (...) (24 years ago, 26-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Shutter, real ridges or simulated? —Tim Romine
(...) DOH! I had already made these shutters before I checked LUGNET, so here they are: 3856 in this post, 3582 in the next. As always, LMKWYT. Tim Romine AFOL for Life enimor@earthlink.net P.S.
