(...) Just solved the problem... for anyone who is interested, the files were formatted in columns using multiple spaces to make the numbers line up... I went into wordpad and did a series of [Find " " replace with " "] until they were all gone and (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) Sorry about the spaces left in the file. I was not aware that they caused a problem. I will try to remember to compact the file first with LDAO before I place them for download. (...) I could be misremembering or just mistaken, but I believe the problem is with the extra spaces around the filename on subfile references. LEdit cannot handle *editing* lines like: 1 16 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 somepart.dat But it should not (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) i'm currently using paul's small 30211-small insectoid leg, his near-finished 30209-eyeball holder and even the mockup for the 30212-large insectoid leg. i don't remember having any problems with the parts but i used steve's ldraw add-on (...)
