Just solved the problem... for anyone who is interested, the files were
formatted in columns using multiple spaces to make the numbers line up...
I went into wordpad and did a series of [Find " " replace with " "] until
they were all gone and then resaved the file... works now :)

| (...) I could be misremembering or just mistaken, but I believe the problem is with the extra spaces around the filename on subfile references. LEdit cannot handle *editing* lines like: 1 16 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 somepart.dat But it should not (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
