Finally, my fair (if not terrible) first attempt at part authoring is ready for submission (as soon as parts@ldraw.org lets me). What a learning experience! It took 12 version saves to get "close". And I'm sure there's more to learn after the (...) (20 years ago, 19-Sep-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) Are there many parts that will need this surface? It doesn't seem like it would be that common... If it would help you to have a subfile, then create a subpart file rather than a primitive.
