here is a mpd file of a test dat file i knocked up to test whether bmp2dat could be used for making parts by making the bitmap at a much larger size than is required and letting ldraw resize it smaller. the pattern is not supposed to be correct (...) the way i name my "stickers" are simply 0 ~Sticker:Maersk Logo thats an example.of coarse there are litterally millions of stickers, official and unofficial custom. now the "~" is ment for subparts. and if you think bout it, stickers can be (...) (25 years ago, 3-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) Stickers are a problem. The current stance is to not accept parts with stickers. Preprinted parts only. This is because there are an infinite number of ways a sticker could be applied to a piece. In the future, it would be nice to have (...) (25 years ago, 2-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

I had to enlarge this to 300% in LDLite/LDraw to make it look like it should, but in POV-Ray it turns out very nice. The Rebel insignia is an inlined subfile which I'd happily make available to anyone else doing SW parts, especially if a certain (...) (25 years ago, 28-Jun-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
