  Re: repost: chains1.dat

(...) And one quadrant is still "squirrely". Try a zoom of about 6000 in l3lab, select the menu option "View/Random colors" and then spin the chain link around a few times.   new DAT file - x467.dat - minifig camera pocket  [DAT]

Here's the minifig camera. I believe someone had requested this at Tore's parts tracker. I'm calling this a "minifig camera pocket" so as to distinguish this piece from the larger, "old fashioned" movie camera from the Adventurers line. Please (...) (...) The ROTATION meta-statements are too new (and I haven't been paying enough attention) say whether they should stay or go. They sound like a generally good idea, though. The WRITE meta-statements should definitely go. Steve (24 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Matt, A few things to consider. 1. Send a message to Tore (tore.eriksson@mbox3...wipnet.se) to _register_ the part you;ve just encoded, and the "P"-number you're using, to help _prevent_ someone else from trying to use that same "P"-number. 2. (...) All of your type-"2" lines need to be changed to type-"5" _conditional_ lines. That is the way to do "edges" for "curved" surfaces in LDraw.
