Re: New Part: Castle Shield with Black Falcon Pattern

(...) Can anyone else confirm or refute this problem? Not that I disbelieve what Joachim is seeing, just that I cannot reproduce it, nor see the problem in the DAT file. Maybe it is a renderer problem, or a problem in the upload. I want to fix this (...) (24 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: 30377.dat Battle Droid Arm

(...) How about introducing a complete R2 shortcut? That should elliminate any confusion as to where the individual parts reside? Fredrik (24 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Ninja Sword Mock-Up

Does anyone have a mock-up of the ninja sword that comes in virtually every Ninja set? I need it to finish a model I am currently working on. Thanks in advance. Mladen Pejic, over and out! (URL) (24 years ago, 15-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: 32199 Technic Flexible Axle 11 (MPD'd)  [DAT]

I think you goofed a bit on this part. This looks better on my system: Fredrik 0 FILE c:\apps\ldraw\models...\32199.dat 0 Technic Axle Flexible 11 0 Name: 32199.dat 0 Author: Steve Bliss 0 Unofficial Element 0 This part is written so the main axle (...)   Re: 30377.dat Battle Droid Arm

(...) This looks like a nice little double ended clip to be. I bet you could use it to hold all sorts of things together. -Chuck (24 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: 30377.dat Battle Droid Arm

(...) So far it's been limited to using the arms as arms and legs, right? We could just put all these parts in a "Star Wars" category. :O Steve (24 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  32199 Technic Flexible Axle 11 (MPD'd)  [DAT]

Here's a new flavor of the flexible axle, which should make it a bit easier to flex the ends. I'm still undecided about the main section. Having a single subfile should speed up rendering, but I doubt these will ever be high-use parts, and having (...) (24 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: 30377.dat Battle Droid Arm

(...) That may be correct, but we may still see the use of individual parts not as battle droids. Like the UCE X-Wing Fighter, with R2D2 bodies in the blaster cannons on the wings. I'd still vote for naming the parts as "Battle Droid" elements in (...) (24 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: 30377.dat Battle Droid Arm

(...) I agree here, at least partly because I doubt the battle droid parts will ever be used outside of Star Wars sets. How adding KEYWORDS and CATEGORY lines: 0 KEYWORDS clip 0 CATEGORY Minifig Droid Partsref recognizes both of these (...) (24 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: 30377.dat Battle Droid Arm

(...) Great! I've found this part to be the most useful Battel Droid part, as it can be used as an "adapter" in the clip system. Say you want to connect a pole/antenna/whatever parallell to another; just use two Battle Droid arms! They do the job (...) (24 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: 30377.dat Battle Droid Arm

(...) Good idea. Then r2 can go in as minifig droid R2 unit & say 3p0s head can go in under minifig droid 3po head. (24 years ago, 13-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Easy part to model request  [DAT]

Sorry for being hard to understand. My English is not too good when it comes to tech stufff. I meant that the part was not correctly aligned. (BTW, it was 40 LDU too much in the z axis, not in the x axis.) It's hard to explain, but maybe this (...) (24 years ago, 13-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
