  Re: Mosque, minifig scale

(...) It's funny you should say that! I had just the same experience in Egypt. The loudspeakers were always driven too hard for their size, be it the loudspeakers in minarets, taxis, cafes and so on! Thanks for your comments! Fredrik (23 years ago, 22-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Mosque, minifig scale

(...) Thanks! You are right in assuming that the mosque is a small one. It's not the major type in which you would find a friday cermon, rather a small one for a local community. I think that many mosques in the central Middle East would be chalked (...) (23 years ago, 20-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

(...) LOL! I just love it! Reminds me of the times I visited Turkey and Syria. It's more than ten years since, but I still can hear the prayers from underdimentioned loudspeakers. Very nice model! /Tore (23 years ago, 20-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Mosque, minifig scale

Fredrik: Nice model. I like the way the roof hinges open. I know that this is a small mosque (probably in a poor village), but shouldn't the walls be chalked white? (...) Lazy you. ;-) Play well, Jacob -- (URL) (23 years ago, 20-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Super Mario World Mushroom

(...) Posting a DAT file there would indeed be a no-no. However, you *could* generate an image of the rendered DAT file (using MLCAD, or else using the "Shift" and "Print Screen" keys and a photo editor), post the resulting image somewhere online, (...)   Super Mario World Mushroom  [DAT]

Just tinkering around with my (lonely) blue 1200 brick tub and I came up with this nifty little sculpture. I've no digital camera to post a real picture so I just rendered the whole thing in MLCad. Nope. There's no way of getting at those roads & utilities. And, you're right. There are different resolution images of those roads and utilities, depending on which zoom you're using. Right now I'm looking at an open source clone of Sim City. (...) (23 years ago, 3-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Yeah, before they updated their website it was easy to find all this stuff. I admit their website is better now, but some of the old content is now obscure or, I suspect, nonexistent. Well, there's only two things you need to worry about when (...) (23 years ago, 2-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)
