  Re: Is Datsville still active?

(...) I'd have to say it's not really active, in the sense of anyone collecting models to add to the scene. John VanZwieten has been quiet for quite awhile on LUGNET; he was the Datsville 'curator'. Steve (22 years ago, 29-Jul-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

.dat or .pov files for numerous Space Sets

I'm currently looking for .dat and/or .pov files for all Space Lego sets from Futuron to Explorian. I'm wondering if anybody has several they could give me (or link me to).   Re: Modeling an entire City

(...) MLCAD is a very powerful program, 100% LDraw compatible but not the fastest alternative. When making buildings, I recommend BlockCAD. (I still use SimLego sometimes, but that's just for sentimental reasons or when I'm at my parents' house (...) (22 years ago, 25-Jul-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Modeling an entire City

(...) My recommendation is to use NOTEPAD or another text editor. 1. Use MLCAD to make all your buildings, each in it's own file. (eg. building1.ldr, b2.ldr, b3.ldr) Make sure all the buildings are say on a 32x32 baseplate per bulding. 2. Use MLCAD (...) (22 years ago, 25-Jul-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)
