Not sure where to post this...
I have recently completed vector graphic versions of the Octan logos, both
the text and the yin-yang. Until they are moderated, here are some GIF
versions of the files:
Smaller (25kB) http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=245062
Larger (62kB) http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=245063
Once the files are moderated, you can find PostScript and Adobe Illustrator
versions of these logos in the folder
http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/jswilson/Octan/ (hope I got that right)
Theyre not 100% accurate (something about the c and the t that I need
to work on, and the opening in the a isnt quite oval enough), and I
probably dont have the colors exactly right, but I dont have a decent
printer to try them out on. But theyre pretty close. I undertook this as
an exercise in learning Adobe Illustrator I had never used it before I
started on this project. Ill post version 1.2 when/if I get them polished.
I give these logos to the LUGNET community for non-commercial use; I only
request that you give me credit if you use them on something that gets
published.
