After finding a GIF89.DLL in a Sierra game, I got it to work - it looks like
it could be of some use! What app was it that you found? And where? Is it a
demo only?
Have you looked at Game Maker by Mark Overmars
(http://www.cs.uu.nl/people/markov/gmaker), it's a free program for making all
kinds of games, and could probably be used as well.
