Where cad I dowload a A4 size poster about ldraw

It would help people understand you better if you wrote more complete
thoughts in your posts, as well.

Good advice but that may be the best he can do in English... check the
domain... .es is Spain. Eduardo, maybe post your request IN Spanish and we
could try to translate it.

Understood.  Eduardo - I've had 4.5 years of Spanish in school, so if you
talk in simplified Spanish to me I can probably understand ;-)  (I need to
get out and use it more, I live near a large Hispanic population)

A spiffy poster one could post that would get people interested in LDraw
might be a neat thing to create. Something one could leave on CS bulletin
boards and such like at colleges???

Actually, I was going to work on a brochure or a flyer pretty soon.  I did a
little mini-demo this weekend with Ondrew Hartigan and Brian Williams at the
West Chicago City Museum - they were having a kids LEGO competition.  Brian
brought a module of his Royal Train (www.royal-train.com), Ondrew brought
some rolling stock and the town scene he and I built together, and I brought
my computer and played with LDraw for the guests.

I spent a good deal of time writing out 'www.ldraw.org,' 'www.lugnet.com,'
'www.royal-train.com' on separate little sheets of paper.  I forgot to print
up more LDraw.org business cards for myself and also we didn't have some
nice club flyers yet.  So, I want to do NILTC (Northern Illinois LEGO Train
Club for those unfamiliar), Royal Train, and LDraw.org fliers for future
shows.

It would be nice to have some LDraw fliers made up and downloadable from the
site for clubs around the world to print out and use at their public events.
The same goes for a poster idea.

And I'm sure others can take English posters and translate the contents into
their language if the original vector files (EPS or Illustrator) are
provided.  Sound like a good idea?

Right now I'm in the middle of working on an entire site rebuild - I want to
release it in a couple weeks after moving all of the content over and
testing.  So I'm not going to spend a ton of time on posters or fliers now,
since I don't believe I'll be demo-ing LDraw to the public in the near
future.  If anyone else wants to take a stab at it, that would be great!
I'll hop on the bandwagon in a little bit.  Please email me if you need
high-res vector formatted logos for graphic production (I've got a 4096 wide
bitmap of the LDraw fade-to-wireframe brick too - *droooool*)

About the site, lets see -- right now I'm done with the templates and have
to test them on multiple browsers.  Then I'll start a major content move and
also start generating some new site content.  I think you'll like what I
have in store ;-)

(...) Um, why a site rebuild? The old site design seems nice. I thought it just needs more content fleshed out. ++Lar (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Erm, I can make you a poster or flyer (I'm a graphic designer, sort of; see (URL) Tell me what you want on them, send dat-files, POV-files, maybe a splash-screen and some eps-files and I'll do it for you. Oh, and this goes for everyone, please (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.cad)
