Well, as far as chains, I don't know. But for wires, flex axels, hoses and the
like the "segments" of the parts are in the LDraw library. The best way, in my
opinion, to create flexible segments in a model is to use Frederick Glockner's
LDraw-Mode for EMacs. You will need EMacs for what ever OS you are using and
Frederick's .el file. Frederick's web page is :
