     (...) I've always thought of that color as "tan". As in "tanned leather". It's always made sense to me - but then, I'm in Alberta - surrounded by the cattle market.    (...) Beige is whiter than the "tan" bricks (white bricks do turn "tan" in the sun though). Tan, before TLC started making it, was a brownish grey, wasn't it? I would like to call the brick colour "sand". (24 years ago, 3-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.general)
