It's the nature of the beast. LDraw is very inefficient at storing raster
images, which is what BMP2DAT utilities create.

| Speaking about BMP2DAT - I am currently re-writing that program. So far, I've just made a slighly improved scan function, and eliminated the need of manual "vertical sync" adjustments. My wild plan is to integrate LDS, LDD, and BMP2DAT, so that you (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad)
