Please Please Please, will someone finish these parts or make them, before
going to starwars parts. I mean atleast lets get the older stuff out of • the
way.

Well, I can't comment on the other designer's motivation, but mine is mainly
ones that I want that are not there.  Lets be frank  (or in your case Doyle,
and I'll be Kevin... ;), ALL of the parts that I have done are for models
that I was working on.

Well anyway I think you designers do a great job, Its just I have been
waiting  for over 2 years for parts that should have been in there to • start
with. I cant complete my project with out these pieces.

Sounds like motivation enough to me to learn parts authoring.  If you have
actual parts, I suggest making them on your own.  If you can think in 3D,
you should be able to do it.  What I usually do is have some plates and
bricks of various sizes to eyeball distances with.  Remember, a 1x1 plate is
8 LEdit Units high and 20 LEU's wide.  Works for me.

(...) I have been known to make a part file just because I find the part interesting. Of course, those parts are not always the most useful pieces... Then again, I never finished the canoe. Steve (25 years ago, 7-Jun-99, to lugnet.cad)
