Please LMKWYT.

EXCELLENT!
That is SO cool!  I love it!

Thanks for all the great comments!

My nephew has been churning out various pod designs for the past week,
but he is going to flip when I show him this.   :-)

I built one engine and the pod IRL, and could probably build the other
engine.  You'll probably be able to build a complete one with your nephew
since you have many more pieces than I do.  I'll probably wait to post
the DAT file until the SW parts become official, though.

I can't wait to see the dat file.  Excellent engine pods - they really do give
it that "massively overpowered" aspect.

BTW, those are good connecting lines, what did you use for them?

I used John Van's hose-creating spread-sheet.  I replaced all the
references to 754?.dat with a 14 LDU long cylinder to get rid of the
gaps.  Since the lines aren't flexed much, the line turned out
surprisingly well.

They sure did.  I would have guessed you had used one of the 'rope' making
include files for POV.

(...) Thanks again! As soon as the next part update comes put I'll post the file.... [about the control lines] (...) I'm not very well versed in POV, and the approach I used also works in LDraw, so that was the way to go. --Bram Bram Lambrecht / o o (...) (25 years ago, 30-May-99, to lugnet.cad)
