My interpretation is that he wants a program that will convert from .DXF
back into .DAT. I think this would be a neat thing to have, since I am
more adept at programs such as AutoCAD than I am at LDraw. I do think it
would be difficult though.
It would be great for modeling new parts, but I don't think it would be
feasible to use it for making models.
