  Re: Minifig Extractor/Manipulator?

(...) Hmm. I guess you're right. If so, even my LDA is incapable of animate tilting of the minifigs. Got to check that out. How would you suggest the reference to a minifig should look like from its mother objest? /Tore (15 years ago, 9-Jan-10, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Minifig Extractor/Manipulator?

(...) No. Absolutely not. For this to be worthwhile, the original positional and rotational data should be retained when extracting the minifig. Consider what would happen if you are extracting a minifig whose hips are not oriented at right angles, (...) (15 years ago, 9-Jan-10, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Minifig manipulator?

(...) Hi, LD4DStudio can export to ldr file(s), which you can refer to in your main ldr. Roland (15 years ago, 9-Jan-10, to lugnet.cad)

  Minifig Extractor/Manipulator?

(...) I think it would be relatively easy ro create a program that: * Opens an LCad model file * Uses MLCad.ini or something in its likeness to scan for and identify minifig parts * Extracts a minifig into a new file * Writes a reference to the new (...) (15 years ago, 9-Jan-10, to lugnet.cad)

  LDTranslator Update (1.0.5.3)

I have just finished version 1.0.5.3. New is the possibility to create from LDTranslator a 'language pack' for each language as zip file that can be used like the update zip files for the library. I hope you like this. Download from (URL) (15 years ago, 9-Jan-10, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.announce)

  Re: Minifig manipulator?

(...) I always insert minifigs as submodels for this reason. I also wish I could insert them as MLCad-Part like the spring. cu mikeheide (15 years ago, 9-Jan-10, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Issue with new LDConfig.ldr

  Re: Minifig manipulator?

(...) I haven't used the minifig feature, but it looks like SR 3D Builder ((URL) has a pretty nice minifig poser (see around 2:00 in for editing of existing pose): (URL) (15 years ago, 9-Jan-10, to lugnet.cad)

  Minifig manipulator?

Are there any tools that allow you to manipulate a minifig AFTER you place it into a file? I realize that MLCad has a minifig generator, which is fantastic, but once you place the fig, to produce another pose, you need to generate a new fig from (...) (15 years ago, 9-Jan-10, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Issue with new LDConfig.ldr

(...) Yes, what a fantastic collection of software we have, and all for free! After trying some alternatives, I have returned to use Windows Notepad as my LDraw file editor. The alternatives all had their advantages, but for various reasons I wasn't (...) (15 years ago, 9-Jan-10, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.cad)

  Re: Issue with new LDConfig.ldr

(...) for the DOS line ending requirement, I conducted a relatively comprehensive compatibility inventory.   Re: LDTranslator released

(...) Correct. And having installed .NET 1, all I had to do was installing .NET 2. After that, it works. Thanks! /Tore (15 years ago, 8-Jan-10, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LDraw.org Localisation Guideline ratified

(...) I will be adding support for this with colors and part names in LDView's "Parts List" feature. I haven't decided if I should also put it in the Model Tree, since that's showing actual file data. --Travis (15 years ago, 8-Jan-10, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LDTranslator released

  Re: LDraw.org Localisation Guideline ratified

(...) I have just made my own translation for MLCad of parts.lst. The only problem is that special characters like the german ä.ö.ü.ß are not shown, as it is read as pure ascii. Also the groups in MLCad needs to be tweaked. If you do a "Scan parts" (...) (15 years ago, 8-Jan-10, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LDraw.org Localisation Guideline ratified

(...) Also MLCad can be tuned to use at least the parts description. We have to substitude the description in the parts.lst with the translation and then you will see the translation in MLCad. cu mikeheide (15 years ago, 8-Jan-10, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LDraw.org Localisation Guideline ratified

(...) That depends on the authors and the administrators or that items. It is much for effort to implement this than only to have one language to care about. Maybe nobody of the above mentioned will ever use that. I try to implement this in the next (...) (15 years ago, 8-Jan-10, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LDraw.org Localisation Guideline ratified

(...) Any chance to see this implemented into tools (eg. MLCad...) or website (Peeron, Bricklink) in a foreseeable future? Philo (15 years ago, 8-Jan-10, to lugnet.cad)
