Re: Which CAD program recommended for Mac??

(...) I second that. I'm quite novice at virtual building, but Bricksmith has proven very straightforward to use (it's event better with two screens, too), and very convivial. MLcad is good to, of course, but I don't see why you'd go through all the (...) (19 years ago, 2-Feb-08, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

Re: Which CAD program recommended for Mac??

(...) Hey, Tommy- That would depend-- if he has a new Mac with the Intel chip, I'd say to go with MLCAD running Bootcamp. Otherwise, the choice would have to be Bricksmith. JOHN (19 years ago, 1-Feb-08, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Paul, (...) Shame on me for these words! I should wear better glasses. (...) Thanks a lot, Paul. Indeed it solves that issue. The official cylinder primitives are now new style so I guess the option could be set to off now (though most cone (...) (19 years ago, 29-Jan-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Problem with Primitive Generator

(...) I believe this was corrected back in November of 2003. There have been other updates to PrimGen since then. Look under options, 'original style cyli and cones'. I do not recall a discussion where it was ever decided to change to the "newer" (...) (19 years ago, 29-Jan-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: "Studless" hinges?

(...) LDraw Design Pad (LDDP (URL) does that very well. Open the part file, click on the line with reference to the stud primitive, then use Tools > Inline part or Ctrl-i, or toolbar inline icon. Save, done. Philo (19 years ago, 25-Jan-08, to lugnet.cad)
