therfore daniel, 1 LDU = 0.015625 inch = 0.396875 mm or just use paul easter's
lcad calculator at http://www.geocities.com/pneaster/lcad_calc.htm

ps. I suggest to handle this over to the LSC. they can add it to the LDraw File
Format proposal 1.0.0 http://www.ldraw.org/article/218 once they ratify the
document. thoughts?
