First thing you would try is avoiding spaces in file namnes and directories. L3P
is a DOS program, and DOS programs generally hate spaces.

(...) You could also try quoting the long file names like C:\LDRAW\L3P.exe "I:\LDraw\MODELS\OFFICIAL MODELS\4883-Designer Set\4883-C Spaceship Racer.ldr" "C:\LDRAW\POV-Ray Files\4883-C Spaceship Racer.pov" -cg45,45,0 -ld -lg45,0,0 -lg30,120,0 (...) (18 years ago, 20-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad)

I'm trying to render some new models I made out of set 4883, but I keep getting this message when I try to load it into POV-Ray: // Empty model. This is listed where the parts should be in the file. This is a standard .ldr file, not a .mpd file. I (...) (18 years ago, 20-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad)
