You might look at this post here:

Not sure if it requires the file to be MPD or not, but if it does, you can
always run an MPD creation program to convert your model to MPD.

| I have a large LDRAW project with many levels of submodels. If I use LPub to make a BOM, I get: This "Portable Network Image" is not valid because it contains invalid pieces of data (crc error). Lpub works alright in simpler cases (the seperate (...) (19 years ago, 23-Mar-06, to lugnet.cad)
