    3 x 2 Wedge Plates —Ed Andrews
I am using parts build 4.0 with MLCad and can't find 3 x 2 wedge plates. I show 3 x 2 wedge bricks under OTHER parts, but no plate. (20 years ago, 31-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad)

Re: 3 x 2 Wedge Plates —Ed Andrews
     (...) I downloaded lcad0403.zip and re-ran mklist.exe and sorted by description. Here's a printout of my parts.lst, still no 3x2 wedge plates 41765.DAT Wedge 2 x 6 Double Inverted Left 41764.DAT Wedge 2 x 6 Double Inverted Right 41748.DAT Wedge 2 x (...)          Re: 3 x 2 Wedge Plates —David Laswell
(...) Gah! Um, they have been made for LDraw, but those parts have not yet been approved. You can download the requisite files from here: (URL) Right> (URL) Left> Make sure you grab the subfiles and put them all in the right directories or the parts (...)          Re: 3 x 2 Wedge Plates —Ed Andrews
(...) Thanks for the direction. I really though I had done something wrong with setting up my parts lib. I'll give Peeron a try in the future as well. (20 years ago, 1-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: 3 x 2 Wedge Plates —David Laswell
(...) They're way at the very end of the Wedge grouping, just before the Wheel grouping starts. They're listed as Wedge Plate 2 x 3 Left/Right. The 2x4 versions are listed as Wings, and the double-wide versions of the same are listed as Wedge 3x4 (...) (20 years ago, 31-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad)

Re: 3 x 2 Wedge Plates —Chris Dee
(...) We are aware that this is unsatisfactory, and there is an ongoing effort by the LDraw parts librarians to standardise thse names. Wedge plates will probably all become Wings. Chris (20 years ago, 31-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad)

Re: 3 x 2 Wedge Plates —Allan Bedford
(...) That would seem to make sense. They share the characteristics with wing plates of being more-or-less a scalene triangle(1) and coming in both a left and right configuration. Regards, Allan B. (1) Depending on how you classify/measure notched (...) (20 years ago, 31-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad)

Re: 3 x 2 Wedge Plates —David Laswell
(...) Please understand that I wasn't harping on it to you guys. I had my bit of that, then Steve explained the situation to me (that it's a known problem, that it's being discussed, and that all Wedge Plates will probably end up as Wings), and now (...)
