Would that then imply that while you were tinkering with an existing part, you'd have to remove that line when first uploading to the Parts Tracker, and it would get added back in as it got released into an update?      (...) We have an unofficial convention for change history in the headers, but that is not necessary to keep track of versions - and can get a little unwieldy. Since the advent of the Parts Tracker (for update 2001-01), new or amended official parts (...) (21 years ago, 9-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad)

   (...) Yes, they do already. - from update 1997-01 to 2000-01 new official parts _usually_ have, in the header 0 Official LCad ..... or if they are corrections to the original library 0 Original LDraw Part YYYY-RR - for update 2000-02 the header (...) (21 years ago, 8-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad)
