(...) Kyle, LeoCAD can NOT view .MPD files. There is NO easy way to make a .MPD file into a .ldr/.dat file that will be viewable when done. The issue is that when you make a .mpd file into a .ldr by taking out the 0 FILE line from within the .MPD (...) (21 years ago, 29-Jul-03, to lugnet.cad)

(...) This isn't really 'easy', but you can: 1. Use either splitmpd or empeedy to separate the MPD into LDR files (use a separate directory to store them!) 2. Use LDAO's Inliner to bring the submodel files into the main file. Steve (21 years ago, 31-Jul-03, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Yes, this is right. I frequently build in MLCad using multipart models. In fact if you build your base model as a separate part (explicitly create a new sub-model when starting a building session) when you are happy with the design export that (...) (21 years ago, 31-Jul-03, to lugnet.cad)
