Hi folks, I'm starting to get into LDRAW (with ML-Cad, fantastic program!), using it mainly for documenting building ideas so I can take things apart again. I've noticed that there aren't any painted flat baseplates in the parts list, such as 6071 (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad)

I've been working on the 4 by 6 Flag, the large plastic flag that LegoCo used in the Pirates and Castle sets before going to a fabric flag. (...) I believe the prefered solution when encountering problems like this is to use as many of the circle and disc primitives as possible in a non-overlapping fashion, and then fill out the rest with polygons. (So my initial 2951 sketch uses the (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Sorry for the delayed reply. I agree that plug-ins should have more functionallity than just playing the roole of a format converter. What I could imagine is chaining the plug-in into the read processing of a dat/mpd file, that allowing the plug-in (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Does anyone either (1) have a tutorial or (2) have time to write something out on how to make ldraw parts? I would like to learn.
