LDAO has a sort utility, but I belive it sorts left to right before back
to front.

| (...) right... but first of all, i'm digging MLCad and think it's the app to center all future effort around... and second, the sorter i have in mind (contemplating throwing it together in VB myself) would allow the user to specify sorting along any (...)
