(...) right.. LDLite supports the new META command language.. but it was invented after LDraw... to convert the model to standard LDraw format you need to run LDLite on the model with the -R switch.. you have to do this at the DOS command line.. (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Thanks, Jeff. I've got LDAO loaded, and I just now used the Mini-fig Modeller feature to create a DAT file. :-) Now I've got a _different_ problem. . . . :-/ The DAT file created by LDAO has a whole bunch of ROTATE and TRANSLATE comments in (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad)

I've noticed something peculiar, though it may just be a factor of my own stunted 3D visualization skills. I seem to have become noticeably better at planning Lego projects in my head.
