large vs tall things (was: Re: does datsville need jobs?i think i have the answer)

(...) Do you mean me? Eric McCarthy? The top floor of the observation tower I brought to the Baylug meeting was about 68 bricks high, with the flag about 12 above that. But there are huge Lego towers that make it into the Guiness book of world (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.trains)

  Re: MLCad wishlist

(...) I agree big time here! I really want that ability as well. It should be able to combine the subfiles with the main dat file and tally up the total parts list without having to change the file from an MPD to a DAT. (...) Maybe he has to be like (...)   Re: Shuttle

  Re: Timmy?

(...) I was afraid of this; I've made myself seem like a troll! Actually, I thought it would be fun to generate a Timmy fig, if only to pose it in a bunch of harrowing situations... Dave! (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Old Parts replaced by Newer Versions?

(...) I'd say functionally-different variants are pretty important. Jamie's example of the "Plate 1 x 1 with Clip Light" is one example of an important variation. An example that has been discussed at length on L-CAD and lugnet.cad.dev at length. (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: MLCad wishlist (was Re: Ice Cream

(...) Right now (MLCAD 1.5), you can right-click a view, and change *that window* to one of the standard views. But you can't add new view-definitions, like "upside down" or "right-front-below" (aka, pit-crew view angle). LDAO allows these types of (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)
