  Re: BlueBrick

(...) Hello everybody, BlueBrick 1.7.0 is released! You can download it at the usual place: (URL) It contains 12 bug fix (including 3 crash bugs) and 13 new features (including the flex track edition). Enjoy! Any problem, any bug, please report it.   Re: Problems with LDView

(...) Alas, I've just learned from Kevin this is not possible. The timeout has been increased for the next release of LPub. Jaco (13 years ago, 14-Oct-11, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Problems with LDView

(...) LPub renders with LDView from the command line. Kevin, wouldn't it be possible to eleminate the time-out all together? Jaco (13 years ago, 13-Oct-11, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Google Code branch - vehicle_046_whitecamper.ldr

(...) Too bad. It's a nice model. Mike (13 years ago, 27-Sep-11, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Google Code branch

(...) Noted. (...) None presently until people start submitting more buildings. Mike (13 years ago, 27-Sep-11, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Problems with LDView

(...) AFAIK, a command-line-only version of LDView would return control back to the calling program when done, thus eliminating the need to continually poll for results. Mike (13 years ago, 27-Sep-11, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Conversion file for ldraw to ldd Version 4.20

Just posted a new version of the LDraw.xml file that’s used to import and export LDR files out of LDD. Please visit the (URL) current LDraw.xml download> page to get the most current version. Enjoy, Gallagher (13 years ago, 2-Oct-11, to lugnet.cad.ldd, FTX)

  Re: MLCad rotaton point?

(...) Okay, in MLCad (and possibly other LDraw GUIs), an individual part will rotate around its origin point. On any standard brick/plate/tile, this origin point is typically found in the exact center of the top surface, excluding any studs. So if (...) (13 years ago, 2-Oct-11, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: Problems with LDView

(...) Sure, I'll look into it. I think it would be possible to make an error.log file or something when timeout is exceeded and write it in the file. Jaco (13 years ago, 10-Oct-11, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Problems with LDView

(...) The problem with Windows is that only command line applications have access to stdout. And command line applications automatically create and show their own command window (DOS prompt to many people) when they are run from anywhere but inside (...) (13 years ago, 29-Sep-11, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Problems with LDView

(...) I too have run into this on many occasions and have had to use some pretty ugly workarounds. I've done instructions with not only thousands of parts, but sometimes many more synthesized parts than regular, especially for pneumatic models. LPub (...) (13 years ago, 3-Oct-11, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Problems with LDView

(...) Jaco has already increased the timeout, so he knows where in the code we timeout. LPub does pop up some dialog, but it could print out the LDView/ldglite output. It is in the tmp directory somewhere I think. Jaco, you up for adding that? Its (...) (13 years ago, 26-Sep-11, to lugnet.cad)

  Google Code branch - vehicle_046_whitecamper.ldr

I think we have a problem here. I mailed Brickbuilder to ask permission to use the White Camper Caravan in Datsville and meanwhile put it in the Pending folder. He never replied, so I guess we have to take that for a 'No'. /Tore (13 years ago, 25-Sep-11, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Google Code branch

(...) Could be a good thing to supply the link: (URL) I dig into this revision, I only wish to add a few spontaneous comments. Six railway crossings in such a short distance is a few too much. Two bridges is enough. I'd say no more bridges. Beyond (...) (13 years ago, 25-Sep-11, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Google Code branch

A third revision is up. The main highlight is that there is now stuff to visit across the river, as well as two bridges connecting to there! Also, I added short text descriptions to the file names so you can tell the models apart. (13 years ago, 25-Sep-11, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Problems with LDView

(...) Yeah, ok, I knew that too but I was hedging just in case I misunderstood what he was talking about. So what's the missing feature? Maybe an option to see the LDView command line running in a logging window somewhere? I don't know if LDView (...) (13 years ago, 24-Sep-11, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Problems with LDView

(...) Hi Matija, Jaco is increasing the timeout for both ldview and ldglite. Kevin (13 years ago, 24-Sep-11, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Problems with LDView

(...) I *know* that you can run LDView from the command line. That is how LPub uses LDView and ldglite as well. Kevin (13 years ago, 24-Sep-11, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Google Code branch

First attempt crashed my PC after 13 seconds of parsing, second attempt with all unnecessary processes (...) (13 years ago, 24-Sep-11, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: Datsville Rev039 - Micro Update

  Re: Problems with LDView

(...) I'm pretty sure you can run LDView on the command line. Do you mean a command line only version of LPub? (13 years ago, 23-Sep-11, to lugnet.cad)

  Google Code branch

I've uploaded a second revision. It includes several new buildings as well as some bug fixes. Mike (13 years ago, 22-Sep-11, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: Datsville Rev039 - Micro Update

I like the two story house model. But, could I make a slight adjustment? For instance, I don't think it is deep enough. Mike (13 years ago, 22-Sep-11, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: Datsville Rev039 - Micro Update

(...) Are you sure? It just seems so awkward at that location. (...) I think we can safely scrap the old POVray stuff. Though my version is not necessarily an improvement. Mike (13 years ago, 22-Sep-11, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Problems with LDView

Re: Rendering with Motion Blur: My first Motion Blur Video is online

Rendering with Motion Blur: MegaPov vs. Overlaying Multiple Pictures
