  2010/2011 LSC Nomination process open.

Hello all, Once more we are rather late with the nominations/election process... I'm not actually sure if this is a Webmaster or SteerCo process (formerly we had people in both) but I'll open it up anyway. The LDraw.org Standards Committee (LSC) is (...)   Re: Sub-Parting

(...) I think in most cases it is to break down complexity at first point. At second thinking about reusage by other parts (maybe already official). Or in case of your first example (I am the author) just because it is a physical part from a special (...) (14 years ago, 3-Jan-11, to lugnet.cad)

Re: I need insight/ideas for my new LDraw editor

(...) Although I do like the mlcad approach, the biggest problem I use to have with it is obstruction. Especially with bigger models. I do plan to support multiple view ports in my new editor but those will all be 'perspective' in order to solve the (...) (14 years ago, 2-Jan-11, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Sub-Parting

(...) I'm not a part author, but the issue resembles 'when to use functions' in programming. Reasons for subfiles i can think of based on programming experience are: - Re-usage of code (e.g. in a different color or different part) - Breaking down (...) (14 years ago, 2-Jan-11, to lugnet.cad)

  Sub-Parting

DATHeader Update (The Reviewer Tool) Version 3.0.6.3

Hi guys, just a small bugfix for the following error: If a subpart has been saved with another name then the autocorrect method did not work correct (no separator between 's' and the filename). Download from (URL) comments are welcome. cu mikeheide (14 years ago, 2-Jan-11, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.announce)

Re: I need insight/ideas for my new LDraw editor

(...) Impressive list there. (...) To me atleast MLCad's way of placing parts is the most common and natural way of placing parts in a 3D. Click a part in the virual bucket of LEGO and drag to the enviroment. Integrate snapping, alingning, auto (...) (14 years ago, 1-Jan-11, to lugnet.cad)
