Hi guys, just a small update. I hope you like the small changes. Download from (URL) comments are welcome. cu mikeheide (14 years ago, 10-Oct-10, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.announce)

  Re: BrickCon LSculpt presentation

(...) Cool. That means I didn't really waste precious bandwidth on the Interwebs when I downloaded both versions. ;-) Looks like I better download the latest LSculpt too. David (14 years ago, 10-Oct-10, to lugnet.cad)

SR 3D Builder 0.5.5.3 quick update

Hi again, due to the high number of requests, I have added the ability to change some User Interface parameters: using the View. Preferences.User Interface options you can now: - Switch between my Rotation model style and the most classical rotation (...) (14 years ago, 9-Oct-10, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: BrickCon LSculpt presentation

(...) It's a little different to show off the new graphical interface. Also, LSculpt now accepts OBJ files, so there is no extra conversion step required. --Bram (14 years ago, 9-Oct-10, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: BrickCon LSculpt presentation

Is the presentation the same one you did earlier this year at Brick by the Bay? (14 years ago, 9-Oct-10, to lugnet.cad)

  BrickCon LSculpt presentation

I have uploaded the slides I presented at BrickCon 2010. The slides go through a complex example which includes two different ways of creating 3D models, combining them together, and building the sculpture. (URL) resolution PDF and Powerpoint are (...)   Re: Tore's Modulex parts in LDraw

(...) Yeah, that's exactly one of those things I had in mind. I don't know wxactly how they work and if this project would be in line with their terms of use, but that would maybe work? /Tore (14 years ago, 8-Oct-10, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Tore's Modulex parts in LDraw

(...) How about importing them into a free source-control hosting service like Google Code or GitHub? That way anyone can contribute and download quite easily, and there's very little setup and maintenance work for anyone to do. Allen (14 years ago, 8-Oct-10, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Tore's Modulex parts in LDraw

(...) That sounds like a challenge to me! (surely someone knows some way they interact :) ) If someone showed a way these interoperated would that make a different answer? I don't think LDraw should host clone parts, but these are actually made by (...) (14 years ago, 8-Oct-10, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Tore's Modulex parts in LDraw

(...) The Wiki can host the page put the upload has to be done somewhere else. You really won't try the uploader used for our CMS. A separate PT would obviously be a total different story or a new CMS. w. (14 years ago, 8-Oct-10, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Greetings from outer space

(...) AWESOME! Spotlighted. Looking forward to your pattern prog, though it uses .net 3.5 and won't run on my old Win2000. It is really high time to do the small step for a man and upgrade to 7. w. (14 years ago, 8-Oct-10, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Tore's Modulex parts in LDraw

(...) I think you are right. I wouldn't mind them being on the PT, but I will not work for it. However, I think there should be a permanent "official" or at least semi-official respority for them somewhere. Chris started out good, but I guess like (...)   Greetings from outer space

In the next days I'll submit the last missing patterned "UFO" part. (it is probably a pattern for 30116..) Here is a picture from the set 69151 to gain an little impression of that theme: (URL) (14 years ago, 7-Oct-10, to lugnet.cad, FTX) !

Re: Tore's Modulex parts in LDraw

(...) At first thought I am with you, but at second thought I feel that it should not be on the parts tracker. As far as I know the modulex parts do not fit in real life with the LEGO System Bricks. So the modulex is much different than the other (...) (14 years ago, 7-Oct-10, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  SR 3D Builder 0.5.5.3 released

  Modulex parts in LDraw

(...) Yes, maybe so. I would love to see them there, but I forsee huge discussions on, for example: * Scale. We decided earlier to use a different scale than other parts from LEGO. That may likely be discussed again. I think the only reasonable (...) (14 years ago, 6-Oct-10, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Tore's Modulex parts in LDraw

(...) Best would be submitting to the PT since we also have: Mursten: (4 URLs) I cannot see any reason why we shouldn't have Modulex. w. (14 years ago, 6-Oct-10, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Tore's Modulex parts in LDraw

This is what I've found. Probably Chris has some more(?) (URL) 51 files, Zip file created Apr 11, 2006) Hope this link works. I'm really not comfortable with making links to SkyDrive and Flickr. /Tore (14 years ago, 5-Oct-10, to lugnet.cad)
