So to any other newbies, I simply downloaded the latest parts update from ldraw.org, and grabbed the parts.lst file and copied into my LDRAW folder under the Bricksmith folder. The one important thing for me is that it doesn't mess up with renderers and utilities that make primitive substitutions. But I don't see that there should be any risk (...) (2 URLs) SlicerPro> is not a professional version of some Slicer tool, but a much improved version of my older Projector tool! (...) Ah, basically the infamous texture mapping... I've seen a POC applied to LDRAW, and it's quite impressive. It'd be nice if we could move forward on that issue.
