  Re: *** LDView Version 4.1 Beta 1 Released ***

(...) As a note for OSX users, the LGEO.xml file is built into the .app package. -Orion (15 years ago, 8-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: *** LDView Version 4.1 Beta 1 Released ***

(...) Oh dear... I hope I did this. I should add for Orion that it's quite trivial to add parts in whatever library you choose, especially if you make use of header files to do a lot of the mass declares etc. It really is a fantastic conversion (...) (15 years ago, 8-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: *** LDView Version 4.1 Beta 1 Released ***

(...) You're welcome. For many people, this will be the premier feature of LDView 4.1. I intended to include it in LDView 4.0, but decided it was better to get the release out instead of delaying it just for that. It was not an easy feature to (...) (15 years ago, 8-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: *** LDView Version 4.1 Beta 1 Released ***

(...) This feature alone is awesome (and way better than mesh enhancer). Thanks for the hard work. -Orion P.S. Any plans to build in support for 3rd party POV part libraries (i.e. LGEO, Anton, etc...)? (15 years ago, 7-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

** Current Conversion file for LDraw to LDD ver. 1.7

Just went through the parts and we do have a good amount of new parts added with this update. Fixed and added many colors. For now I’m sticking to the parts that are easy to get done. Going for the bulk first, I will then work on the complex parts (...) (15 years ago, 7-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad.ldd, FTX)

Re: LPub 4.0.0.3 available for test

(...) Kevin, I'm using LPub 4.0.0.4 and I seem to be having this problem that was presumably fixed in 4.0.0.3. Is there something I need to do to get the background color to fill the pdf page? Right now I have my page setup to 11.0 by 8.5 (...) (15 years ago, 7-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Mixed Orientation of NXT Sensors in LPub

(...) Thanks, Jetro! That did the trick. Gus (15 years ago, 5-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad)

Sorry, I forgot to post the original announcement to lugnet.cad. Please see lugnet.announce for the full announcement. --Travis (15 years ago, 5-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: Mixed Orientation of NXT Sensors in LPub

(...) [snip] (...) If I remember correctly you need to add the parts you want with ta different orientation to PLI.mpd (in the LPub folder) Jetro (15 years ago, 4-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Technic Axle Joiner / Cross Block descriptions

Mixed Orientation of NXT Sensors in LPub

Okay, I'm baffled by this. I'm adding both an NXT touch sensor and a HiTechnic acceleration sensor in one step and for some reason they are oriented differently in the parts list generated by LPub. The touch sensor is pointing down to the left and (...) (15 years ago, 3-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Technic Axle Joiner / Cross Block descriptions

(...) Thank you for all the comments on this (including those that veered off-topic). I like the "Cross Block" designation, especially as this is a common theme in the LEGO descriptions. It has the added benefit that it is shorter than "Joiner (...) (15 years ago, 3-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: LPub/LSynth Moving parts in Instructions and setting colors

(...) Thanks! That did it. (15 years ago, 2-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LPub/LSynth Moving parts in Instructions and setting colors

(...) If you already ran LSynth you can still change the colour by selecting the hwole wire and then selecting the colour of your choice from the colour bar. Jetro (15 years ago, 2-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad)

  MLCAD Spring Color Question

Ever since the new ldconfig.ldr update with the new colors, I'm getting a strange behavior in springs. When you use the spring generator in MLCAD, for some reason it assigns the color 250 to the edge lines regardless of the color of the spring (...) (15 years ago, 1-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LPub/LSynth Moving parts in Instructions and setting colors

(...) Hi Gus, You're welcome. In fact since the early days of LSynth 2.0, I have not touched the code much. Don Heyse and Willy Tschager have been working together on this and really improving things, so thanks goes to them too. (...) Buffer (...) (15 years ago, 1-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad)

LPub/LSynth Moving parts in Instructions and setting colors

Hi All, I have just updated to the latest version of LPub and LSynth and WOW!, they are awesome. Thank you, Kevin! I'm trying to do something a little tricky in a set of Technic instructions and I'm not sure how to do it. I need to show parts with (...) (15 years ago, 1-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LDraw2BrickLink script

(...) Yeah, I think I remember seeing your post on the Blender importer. That was really interesting! Would you mind posting a few pictures of your models rendered in Blender? Scott (15 years ago, 24-Aug-09, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.market.brickshops)
