Mixed Orientation of NXT Sensors in LPub

Okay, I'm baffled by this.

I'm adding both an NXT touch sensor and a HiTechnic acceleration sensor in one step and for some reason they are oriented differently in the parts list generated by LPub.   The touch sensor is pointing down to the left and the acceleration sensor is pointing down to the right.  It looks goofy.

I assumed that they were simply modeled with a different orientation but when I
check the .dat files I find that all the sensor are oriented the same way, the
intuitive way with all the sensors facing forward.  Indeed, when I created a
model consisting of every NXT sensor I have an LDraw part for, they are all
oriented forwards when I add them so they get a default orientation.  But when I
run the file the LPub all the sensors show up pointing to the right except the
touch sensor and light sensor which point to the left in the parts list.

So why would they show up differently in the parts list in LPub?  What is the
right way to fix it or work around it?

Thanks,
Gus

(...) [snip] (...) If I remember correctly you need to add the parts you want with ta different orientation to PLI.mpd (in the LPub folder) Jetro (15 years ago, 4-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad)
